Inbox, Cellphone.
A few months ago, I was in California for a performance and my parents and brother surprised me with a visit. It has been a very long time since we had a real family vacation, so we decided to drive into the mountains for a few days of adventure.

At one motel, there were funny tubular pillows on the beds. My brother waited until I was washing my hands at the sink and casually held the pillow against the mirror in front of me. Instinctively, I leaned my head forward onto it, and he instantly let go. Because my hands were under running water, I didn’t move. If I had, the pillow would have fallen straight into the sink. I stood stuck with my face planted in a pillow against the mirror while my brother toppled over in hysterics. I yelled at him to get me a towel, but he just howled with glee and left me to fumble for one. Months later, I received this photo in my inbox.
