Performing a benefit show for the Bowery Poetry Club!
What a magical night. Before the show even started, people were lined up down the block! Then, as soon as we opened the door, the Bowery was packed to the brim with people sitting on stage, sitting in the aisle, standing in the back. The stage was full of close friends and great talent: Taylor Mali, Andy Suzuki & the Method, Laura Lamb Brown-Lavoie, Jeanann Verlee, and Arthur Lewis. We even had 479 people watching the live stream online! The whole evening was a triumphant night for poetry, community, and the Bowery Poetry Club. Thank you to everyone who made it such a remarkable evening. It felt so good to be home.
