Performing at “Write Bloody’s Poetry Honky Tonk Badonkadonk: An AWP Off-Site Event” in Seattle, WA!
Sarah was so excited to debut her new book, No Matter the Wreckage, which made her an official Write Bloody Author! She was so thrilled to perform next to the other unbelievable poets that this publishing company boasts, all performing together for one night only: Derrick Brown, Karen Finneyfrock, Buddy Wakefield, Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz, Brendan Constantine, Jon Sands, Tara Hardy, Aaron Samuels, Mindy Nettifee, Taylor Mali, Bucky Sinister, Jeremy Radin, Stevie Edwards, Jason Bayani, Jade Sylvan, Daniel Nester, Lauren B. Zuniga, Franny Choi, Elaina Ellis, Daniel McGinn, & music from Adam Falkner! Holy smokes! As if the event couldn’t be any more special, Sarah also received an award (or a “Birdie”!) for her “Outreach” work bringing spoken word poetry to wider and wider audiences! Thank you, Derrick!
