Performing at Portland Poetry Slam in Portland, OR!
Last year Sarah was overwhelmed with the love and warmth she experienced at the Portland Poetry Slam venue at Backspace. She was especially excited to be able to bring Phil with her this time around! The duo performed to a packed house and were delighted by the local talent they got to witness. Much thanks to the fantastic Portland Poetry Slam family for hosting such a excellent night.

Performing and teaching at the Lick-Wilmerding School in San Francisco, CA!
Phil and Sarah spent the day at the Lick-Wilmerding School and had a wonderful experience the entire time! A great performance followed by two workshops full of awesome students. Plus, the Lick-Wilmerding Campus is pretty amazing. What a great day! (Photo by Eleanor Sananman)

Performing and teaching at the Hamlin School for Girls in San Francisco, CA!
Phil and Sarah were so happy to be back at the Hamlin School with some of our favorite young ladies! And of course, Ms. Wanda Holland-Greene is one of the most lovely Heads of School the Project VOICE team has ever had the pleasure of working with. Felt like coming home!

February 2-3, 2013
Performing and teaching at Stanford University in Stanford, CA!
Phil and Sarah spent two days performing and leading a workshop with Stanford students. The evening show was a bunch of fun, and the daytime workshop was warm and cozy! Much thanks to Alpha Kappa Delta Phi and PASE for sponsoring the events and to everyone who came out to play!

Performing Eastside Perparatory School in Palo Alto, CA!
Today Phil and Sarah performed and taught the incredibly bright and enthusiastic students at Eastside Prep. What a fabulous group!

Performing at the Woodside Learning Center at the Juvenile Justice Center in San Francisco, CA!
Phil and Sarah spent the day performing for inmates at the Juvenile Justice Center, with help from teachers at the Woodside Learning Center and Writers Corps. It was an amazing day with some incredibly enthusiastic, attentive students. Much thanks to the young men and women who participated, and thanks to the folks who facilitated the visit.

January 24-25, 2013
Performing and teaching at Cate School in Carpinteria, CA!
Project VOICE was happy to make a return visit to the Cate School. Phil and Sarah had a great time performing and leading workshops with a bunch of smart students and exploring the beautiful Cate campus. Much thanks to Peter for helping make the trip a reality.
