Surkhet, Nepal.
Today started with some serious haircuts. Then we went
on a hike for two and a half hours uphill into the Nepali
jungle with twenty kids (ages 4-13) and six adults. We barely
made it back before nightfall. But on the way, Sundar caught a butterfly.

Surkhet, Nepal.
The best chaat in all of Surkhet, and a late afternoon
house-cup football (soccer) game.

Kathmandu to Surkhet, Nepal.
1. I wish this photograph wasn’t blurry so that you could
see that this man was carrying a giant bloody rack of ribs
home on his bicycle.
2. Now every airplane window view will have to live up to
this: namely, the Himalayas en route to Surkhet.
3. On the road again.

Kathmandu, Nepal.
Lighting fires, sacrificing roosters, and hanging bells are all
ways of seeking positive results in your romantic relationship
at this temple. Just don’t go with your partner. That’s bad luck.
Only solo visits. Or get dressed up with your gal pal and head on over together.
This temple closely resembles a lighthouse, and the sky
closely resembles feathers. But this is the real wonder: Rainbow City.
