Jerre B. Fine smuggled his juicer and a heap of
vegetables all the way from Oklahoma to make
everyone homemade juice. Ginger, beet, apple,
carrot? Yes, thank you.

I know what you’re thinking. “But Sarah, you don’t
condone posting food photos!” It’s true. But remember
how I found Jeni’s ice cream in Tennessee and discovered
it was the greatest ice cream in the country? Well the
original location is in Columbus. And if there’s one type
of pilgrimage I believe in, it’s a food pilgrimage. Every time
I go to Portland, the first place I go is Voodoo Donuts.
Every time I go to San Francisco, it’s straight to Tartine.
Now you can add Jeni’s to the list. So what if there was
a blizzard going on? That Pear Riesling Sorbet was worth it.
