A Little Daylight Left Book Launch Show at the Bell House in NYC
Join us to celebrate the publication of A Little Daylight Left, the long-awaited, new collection from acclaimed poet Sarah Kay. Featuring a night of poetry, wit, humor & performance, with special guests. Tickets include a signed copy of the book provided by Books Are Magic & an opportunity for book-personalization after the show. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Guests over 18 must present valid, government-issued photo ID.

Virtual Educators’ Workshop!
Due to the overwhelming response to our first virtual workshop for educators, we’re excited to be offering it a second time! If you are a teacher who would like some help figuring out how to bring poetry into your classroom, please join us on January 30 at 2:30pm ET! Our last educator workshop was a wonderful way to virtually meet and collaborate with teachers, and we are excited to meet more educators who are curious about poetry!

Sarah is thrilled to be joining the “Heavy Hitters Festival” from Awful Good Writers, with a 90 minute Virtual performance-workshop-Q&A hybrid. The event will be live & available world-wide at 6pm PST, & Sarah will share poems, a little writing-workshop, & a Q&A! BUT if you can’t be awake at that time, don’t worry, you can catch it later on your own time! Festival participants get access to *all* events for the entirety of the festival! Performing with Pop-Up Magazine in Austin, TX!
Sarah is making her non-fiction debut! Pop-Up Magazine is a live show that seeks to create the most entertaining version of what it feels like to read a magazine. Each show contains multiple non-fiction pieces that are performed by the journalists who wrote them (accompanied by a live band and an impressive art department). Sarah is joining this “Winter Issue” to share her first-ever non-fiction (non-poetry!) piece. The show’s line up includes all-stars like Liana Finck, Isabel Castro, Catherine Cohen, Cecilia Aldarondo, and more. Tickets available now!
